Enchantment of Perseid

Immerse yourself in a world of artistic wonder as BE Contemporary and Art50.net collaborate to unveil “Enchantment of Perseid”, a visually stunning exhibition running from July 21 to September 15, 2023. This extraordinary showcase invites viewers on a journey of pleasure, imagination, and exploration.

As a harbinger of midsummer, the Perseid Meteor Shower, one of the most sought-after celestial phenomena in the northern hemisphere, gracefully dances through the Earth’s atmosphere from mid-July to late August every year. Embracing the brilliance of this celestial gift, twelve talented artists transcend conventional boundaries with their striking, colorful, and unconventional creations, offering viewers a magical escape into their captivating realm.

The exhibition features acclaimed artists Ayşegül Karakaş, Ceyda Güler, Elif Çelebi, Funda Alkan, Genco Gülan, Görkem Dikel, İrem Yılmaz, Khayyam Zidane, Lütfiye Kösten, Mihriban Mirap, Müge Ceyhan and Samet Öztürk, who collectively establish a playful, free-spirited, and imaginative atmosphere, beckoning audiences from the fringes of life’s delightful experiences.

As the Earth’s orbit intersects the ethereal trails left by a passing comet, a radiant spectacle descends from the Perseus constellation, illuminating our world once more. BE Contemporary, in collaboration with Art50.net, welcomes visitors to embark on an aesthetic journey, unveiling the hidden enchantment and bliss that reside within the ordinary fabric of our daily lives. The exhibition, “Enchantment of Perseid”, will be open for viewing at BE Contemporary from Wednesday to Saturday, between the hours of 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
