Pollock

In ‘Pollock’ we watch Ed Harris as leading actor and director of the film. The movie focuses on American painter Jackson Pollock, a man who brought a new understanding to expressionism, and tells his dramatic life story. Suffering from alcoholism and manic depressive behavior, Pollock calms down and finds himself while painting. The film places Pollock and his then-girlfriend Lee Krasner at the heart of 1940s New York art scene. On one hand, it portrays the making of Pollock’s artworks that brought him worldwide fame, and shows how he loses his loved ones on the other.
