Banksy, a graffiti artist from Bristol, becomes a global phenomenon and begins to break auction records. The author Will Ellsworth-Jones wants to interview him without exposing his true identity bu he is refused. Then he decides to write an unauthorized book based on bits of information he himself collects. The book depicts an ironic and alternative portrait of Banksy, the British street artist stuck in between his guerilla artist and superstar identities, facing the risk of being domesticated by the very system he opposes. The book was published by St. Martin’s Press.
