The art week which takes its name from the Armory Show is ready to return with its 2018 edition. Lasting not one but for two weeks this year, the Armory Week is made of multiple New York events and fairs which come one after another. Let\u2019s have a look at the 2018 Armory Week, and explore what-where-and-whens of the best New York fairs and shows together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><h4><strong>ADAA Art Show <\/strong><strong>February 27\u2013March 4<\/strong><\/h4><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The ADAA Art Show gives direction to American Contemporary Art every year. Now in its 30th year, the show will take place in the Park Avenue Armory in New York. Featuring 72 dealers, the ADAA Art Show will present and showcase the best examples of modern and contemporary art from America and beyond. This year, many of the 72 exhibitors at the fair gave over their booths to presentations of single artists, among them are Peter Saul at Michael Werner, Harmony Hammond at Alexanger Grey and Thomas Chimes at the Lock Gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><h4><strong>The Armory Show <\/strong><strong>March 8\u201311<\/strong><\/h4><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large wp-image-7829\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/art50.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/armory_show_2017-1024x685-1024x685.jpg\" alt=\"Jennifer Calais, Source: thearmoryshow.com\" class=\"wp-image-7829\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Jennifer Calais, Source: thearmoryshow.com<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In its 24th year, the Armory Show not only gives its name to the Armory Week but also presents the best artworks of the 20th and 21th century. This year the fair will feature presentations from 200 international galleries on Piers 92 and 94 and will include a \u201cFocus\u201d section. Under the direction of Minneapolis Institute of Art curator Gabriel Ritter, the Focus section will explore technology and its relationship to arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>NADA<\/strong> <strong>8-11 Mart<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, NADA has moved its location south, to the ground floor of Skylight Clarkson Square in West SoHo. Featuring 100 exhibitors from 17 countries in its new 60.000 sq metres venue, NADA will host new galleries from Milan, New York and Michigan. Artist Mickalene Thomas and collector and consultant Racquel Chevremont are co-organizing the fair\u2019s \u2018\u2019Curated\u2019\u2019 section this year. Now on its ninth edition in the Spring Studios in Tribeca, it will feature 50 exhibitors, 19 of whom are showing there for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scope<\/strong> <strong>9-11 Mart<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Scope 2018 returns to the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea between 9-11 March. In its 18th iteration, Scope will host 60 exhibitors which aim to bring to light the latest trends in contemporary art. This year it features 85 exhibitors, all of whom will show latest trends in modern and contemporary art and will present artists who create marvels with the medium of paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><h4><strong>Clio Art Fair <\/strong><strong>March 8-11<\/strong><\/h4><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Known as \u2018\u2019An Anti-fair of Indenpendent Artists\u2019\u2019 the Clio Art Fair provides an alternative fair experience that goes beyond booth and gallery representation.
