Merve Dündar produces paper collages that consist of random and experiential expressions of the words that occupy her mind and inner world. These collages can be considered as living organisms in which Dündar’s mind topography is boldly reflected and is interacting with the audience. Collages construct a form made up of stacks of small cut papers with written words. Words gain new meanings with these new forms, and the meanings become a form. The senses of boundlessness and confusion created by these collages integrate with the traces of forms of body and nature created by the manipulations of the speed of the flow of information in today’s post-modern era.
