Osman Törer

Osman Törer is born in Tokat in 1978. He is graduated from Gaziosmanpaşa University, Department of Painting Instructor, in 2009. After completing his graduate degree from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University at Painting Department in 2011, and he completed Proficiency in Art Program at the same university in 2019. The artist participates in various exhibitions, lives in Istanbul and Tokat.

In his paintings and three-dimensional works, Osman Törer brings together different machine pieces and invents new machines out of these pieces. While creating machines, the artist is paying attention to the integrity of forms, volumes, surfaces, and colors, and lets the viewer’s imagination to what the new machines will be serving for and how they will be functioning. The machines that seem ready to work, are depicted in a realistic style with the details, are evoking movement and energy behind their stationary appearance.
