“In life we experience some moments when time slows down so much that it almost stops or disappears. These moments of disappearance are the ones where with the dialectic of nature we come realize ourselves and maybe truly exist. In my “Quiet Zone” titled painting series where I question time and space, these lost moments of deep silence and tranquility are reflected on the canvas.
The abstract dimension of 4 dimension universe in physics, 3 space and space-time consists of Time. In my paintings there are 3 dimension space images along with abstracted color areas that are made foreign. The tension-generating effect of red and orange emphasizes the great energy that lies dormant in silence and tranquility. In my paintings, red especially, is a symbol of time, existence and love.”
